Welcome to the personal pages of Norrin M. Ripsman, Ph.D.

I am a Professor in the Department of Political Science at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. Currently, I teach courses in international relations, with a concentration on security studies, international political economy and foreign policy.

My primary research interests include the domestic sources of foreign security policy in democratic states, postwar peacemaking, constructing regional stability, and the political economy of national security, as well as Canadian foreign and defence policy.
