Margareth Kammerer - vocals, guitar, Leonid Soybelman - organ, guitar,
Nicholas Bussmann - Korg synthesizer, cello
Andrea Ermke - samples, Joe Williamson - bass
Five of the musicians have worked together on the recently released CD ?Ode
an die Langeweile - eine Honmmage an Hanns Eisler?. In that process they
discovered the pop potential of Eisler´s compositions. Guestar continue
where the Eisler project stopped. Playing some of his compositions as well
as their own songs they create music between (trash)-pop, chanson, soft
core and minimal electronic improvisation.

JAPANESE NEW MUSIC FESTIVAL (Tokyo, Japan)
YOSHIDA TATSUYA (drums, vocal, keyboards, guitar)
One of the innovative drummers/composers/improvisers in Japan alternative
music today. His solo performance is truly omni-physical performance. He
plays drums, vocal, keyboards and guitar at same time.
AKATEN (Yoshida - percussions, vocal, Tsuyama - guitar, vocal)
Experimental and humorous unit. They bring their interests to life and
nature, by using camera/scizzors/zippers/pet bottles as percusion,
simulatung bird calls, or even turning a Sumo broadcast/Tongue twister into
a songs.
ZUBIZUVA-X (Yoshida, Tsuyama, Sasaki)
Poly-rhytmic vocal trio. Running the gamut from Gregorian chant and tuvan
throat-singing to doo-wop, hardcore and looney tunes.
TSUYAMA ATSUSHI (acoustic guitar, vocal)
Tsuyama is the bassist from Japanese famous cult band Omoide-Hatoba. He
adds his own interpretations and lyrical sense to create a beautiful but
odd ?fake traditional? musical world.
RUINS (Yoshida - drums, vocal, Sasaki - bass, vocal)
Ruins is the pioneer of drums/bass duo, they are just two musicians, but
their sound is an energetic blast of solid rhythm section and hard to
beleive they are two.Ruins has been turned Europe/USA many times.

MCH BAND (CZ)
The band´s founder (1981) and leader, composer, saxophonist, guitarist and
singer is Mikoláš Chadima. In 90´s Mikoláš Chadima put his energy to
composing. He played rest only with MCH Band, but also with Pavel Fajt, Iva
Bittová, Fred Frith etc.

Poetry of nerves/industrial jazz/avant garde/rock
Tudósok is a leading member of the currently thriving Budapest scene. Poet,
musician and painter drMáriás who settled in Hungary coming from Yugoslavia
has quickly become one of the most original and interesting figures of the
Hungarian art scene, especially for his concerts/performances with the
Tudósok, a unique band playing concerts bursting with energy, epileptic
rhythm, expressive poetry and dadaistic tales.
KORAI ÖRÖM (H)
FATHY SALAMA SHARKIAT (Egypt)
The group which devotes itself particulary to Arabian music beyond the
borders of their own country Egypt. The group attaches special importance
to working from the roots of that music. Yet do this in a way which is not
antiquated at all. Sharkiat is a group blending Arab tradition and jazz
improvisations into a new form of Music.
THE ATLAS PROJECT (F)
Norscq a Paris based electronic musician, has been one of the key
instigators of the French underground scene for more than 15 years. For
this occasion Matthieu Safatly will accompany him playing cello, ud and
percussions.

THE MENESES/MAKIHARA PERCUSSION DUO featuring Jim Meneses (Midi Marimba)
and Toshi Makihara (Acoustic Percussion),
STEPHEN DiJOSEPH (works for solo piano),
and the selected films of Philadelphia filmmaker PETER ROSE.

La Cellule d´Intervention Metamkine is an open-ended group including
musicians and filmmakers researching the relationship between image and
sound. Since 1995 they develop collaborations with other groups or artists
like Nachtluft (CH), Kinobits (F), Loophole Cinema (GB), Tom Cora (USA),
Pitch (F), la Flibuste (F), Voice Crack (CH).
OSSATURA (I)
Ossatura naturally tends towards a combination of non-musical languages
through a creative process where music is but one of the components in a
complex and extended project.
