Thanks Louis. 'Sonic', 'Sound' or 'Auditory' Art may be another
translation of 'Audio Art' -- as Audio Art is to Video Art, Auditory Art is
to Visual Art. This references the (human) perceptual system which is
involved.

I have no problem with 'acousmatic', and prefer to consider it as the
matured form of 'musique concrete'.

traduction de la terme "Art audio", c'est a dire, "Art audio" = " Art
video", et Les arts visuelles = Les arts auditif [?]. Cela indique que la
terme s'applique au modalite de systeme de perception humaine.
