We are pleased to announce the launch of two new projects on Cinema
Volta.(http://www.cinemavolta.com).

The first is an interactive music/visual instrument called Ripple
(http://www.cinemavolta.com/ripple.html).
Ripple is a Java applet that allows a user to create complex, ever-evolving
sound and
visual patterns with just a few mouse clicks. In addition, multiple users
can interact with with each other over the net.

Ripple was created as a collaboration between John Maxwell Hobbs and Mark
Napier (http://www.potatoland.org),

Also, there are four new songs available in MP3 format - "Dreamtime,"
"Wash," "Toll," and "Basetime 2." You can find them at
http://www.cinemavolta.com/sounds.html or by going to
http://www.mp3.com/cinemavolta. Also available at the MP3 site are "ARF,"
"QUACK," and "OMMM" - three CDs compiling work created over the last four
years.

If you wish to be removed from this list, just reply to this message with
the word "remove" in the subject line.
