Hi everyone

The range of experiences in response to the original query would confirm
that a lot of problems of audio cds is down to the cd not the software.

Audio error correction is not as good as CDROM error correction.

There is a good website that tests various cd brands in various cd burners
and the results are very revealing. MASSIVE DIFFERENCES in error
rates, and some brands work best in particular machines
etc. Also, the burner that came out top in the
tests is one called the Plextor PlexWriter 412C. Worth checking out if you
are shopping.

The address is http://www.digido.com/meadows.html
or see article in AudioMedia magazine issue 96 Nov. 98 (european edition)
