Last year the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival
brought Luis de Pablo iver from Spain. He recounted that
a similar thing was happening in Spanish contemporary music.
Commissions for chamber/orchestral music were available
for pieces between 8/10 mins and 18/20 mins. I'm not sure
if this is still current policy.
