Assuming 30 participants. Rather than devising a complex tagging
system (which is what freesound.org is anyway), we could have perhaps
Sampler profiles. Each person would have a little page dedicating to
them stating where there samples come from, what they are like, etc.
Then they could organize their samples themselves, have somebody else
organize them, or not organize them at all.
Actually, tagging would still be very helpful. But I don't think we
need a complex system. Just add a few tags to the sample and have them
searchable with a basic search engine. If you can't find what you
need, move on to freesound.
I just don't think this would be a place to come when you're looking
for a certan sound. Just a place to browse and say "hm... that looks
interesting, i think i'll download it..... wow, that's great, that
inspires me to make such and such piece" or "wow, this guy has really
good recordings, I think i'll download this and keep it around for
