Actually, student members have voting rights as well---with the membership fee you get an annual CD, reduced conference fees, the SEAMUS Journal, and the SEAMUS Newsletter (which is now in electronic format). I am a biased writer (since I am the immediate past-president of SEAMUS) but I would think it is a worthwhile membership. However, you will need to determine for yourself if the aforementioned benefits are worth the $25.
