in the present past post modern where W nears the sea

passing through in dawn down down
on Beatty street where W nears the sea
what ghostly apparition entering my soul
how old was is she he carrying me in ecstasy
full crashing past five thousand stories
wondering who and why
this spirit transporting to some scape
neither you nor i recall or remember
this other inhabiting warping in the weave
likening to love transcending grubby roads
where strange birds live and die
in gutters beside high risings
not you nor i in something far away
forgiving this dying self
decomposing on the hill
in the present past post modern
