dear Mr Austin(s) / Et Al

am i confused or you ? funny 'running' shoes ? chill babe ? what else can
we do, living in Canada ? ok, two or more can play at dis game o
chance... what are th varying frequencies of human & animal voices and if
we start this conversation (again), will we get into a war of words ?
fist fights in academia or at th bar / zoo are ne'er pretty ... can't we
just sit down / stand up and rationally dis.cuss this like shadow puppets
who might know a thing or few ..and not get into litigation or spend our
time sending Martha to Jail ..

should i laugh out loud or just giggle ;-) silently to myself (with a CC
to Miriam). i heard we must ne'er e'er tell another musician / composer
to turn their gain down ... is that true ? ... but if it's high pitch
whining at ear peircin dcB don't i have a right to leave th auditorium or
kick up a fuss ? and if a kid comes along asking questions th least s/he
(me included) can do is be respectful or people's hard work and lives or
passion in commumity or solitude ... we were'nt born yesterday .. if we
add up all our years of wisdom, what would it add up to ? .. you don't
always get what you want but th person sitting next to you might need it
as much or more ... so isn't CEC-Conference offering a Great Service to
th World by opening up th lines o dialogue about EA / Music & 'higher
education' (in th ?

ok, since we are talking (off line as it were), what about th injustice
in New Orleans ? didn't Gate Mouth Brown pass away a few years too early
cause o th floods ? He was a Great Elder (80ish) but he had many songs
and more years if he was still composing himself on his porch !!! war o
words - women, men, racism, FEMA ? is big topic for EA to deal with but
who better than composers to shake dis up :-)

i appreciate Eliot's take ... as you say "Eliot sets himself the
unenviable task of proving himself wrong" .. i hope i can strive for such
admir-able goals while listening to th audio box and soundscape 'talking'
:-) and professors et al who might have a few things to say about life /
learning / lists / linuxvsmac / lalalalalololololooooo / bla bla bla...
:-) i should think before i speak or rap not .. ?
