wow, $100 is actually cheap compared to the last time
i priced it. the soundvisions goes for 38 pounds....it
doesn't have the historical value that cage's book
does, but it's a good one if you like checking out
various contemporary composer's solutions to notation.
 

another one is the kurt stone book 'notation in the
20th century'...much more a textbook, but it's a
valuable reference and i've actually found some
timbral ideas from checking out the example notations.
