speaking of cage's notations, i've just purchased a
beautiful book called 'soundvisions' which is
basically a new version of notations (not notations
updated, but a similar book with one/two page examples
of various graphic scores)...with 'notations' so
difficult to find/buy, this might be a good
choice...it's available here:
