This is a bit similar, IMV, to orchestral music, which is never quite
the same on record, despite the best attempts (very good at times) to
reproduce this experience on CD. There is just something about
experiencing these things in a larger space, where the sound can expand
to fill it - this is a three-dimensional sound experience that your
living room can never quite match - even if we all have multi-speaker
ambisonic systems - we all do, don't we? ;-)>

Seriously, there _really is_ something special about being in a concert
situation, and I'm not only thinking about the social implications,
compared to listening on your iPod. Reality still has the edge IMV!
