Because some of us don't want to program much. I'd rather get right
down to composing, only slightly modifying ensembles (Reaktor patches)
that others have created to suit my needs. IMHO, software doesn't have
to be as powerful as the other 4 programs you mentioned to be musically
useful. Price is not really an issue, I think, when you consider that
Reaktor costs as much as an OK acoustic guitar.
