this raises an issue: Kevin posted an amusing photograph (presumably in
MIME / HTML format). We extended the bounds of CEC's posting bandwidth
and settings to include HTML.
Is there available a text-to-speech email application for Solaris (Jim
uses *NIX) which will ignore the formatting and read the text directly?
I would hate to miss out on the poetry and occasional light relief that
HTML has brought to our discussions. But I also respect Jim's views -
and I am fairly sure that *NIX applications often offer the ability to
strip text of HTML - unfortunately it is some time since I have used a
*NIX email application and I am not up-to-date.
