The top 5 placing works from this year's JTTP
competition will be played on this week's Kalvos
& Damian, hosted by Dennis Bathory-Kitsz and
David Gunn (programme info follows). Following
the opening segment, the following JTTP works
will be presented:

2) Martin Bédard - Topographie de la noirceur (2005)
3) Delphine Measroch - Machin Machine (2005)
4) Samuel Beaudoin - n'importe quoi (2005)
5) Ivan Elezovic - Almost there... (2001)

Thanks to Dennis and David for years of service
in the Non-Pop revolution, and for incorporating
several CEC's CDs into their arsenal. Best wishes
for your final shows (yes, folks, they are
unfortunately going off-air in September), and
hope the upcoming Komposer Kombat Survival
Competition doesn't get too ugly (erk!).


All works from the CEC's annual JTTP competition
appear in SONUS, the CEC's online database of
1500+ electroacoustic works (search for "JTTP
2005" in the "Appeared in" field).


Kalvos & Damian's New Music Bazaar - Dennis Báthory-Kitsz & David Gunn WGDR FM 91.1 Goddard College (Plainfield VT USA) Predominantly instrumental New Music, but regular forays into the realm of electroacoustics. Going off the air in September 2005 after 10 years of serving the Non-Pop Revolution in all its forms, but the Kalvos website will continue to include archived shows.
