I think the point our friend "R. Mutt" is making is that you are
fundamentally wrong on this point. What you're hearing is
manipulation of electromagnetic radiation done by scientists and
shoved into a pressure wave format that is audible. Yes, the output
of the aurora is complex and potentially interesting, but I think to
talk about the "sound" it makes as beautiful is imprecise. At best,
the sound can offer an additional way to experience the aurora's
"beautiful" radiation spectrum.
