Hello!

I was wondering how you work final mastered versions of your multichannel works.
Although using single-channel compression is nice for each the instrument, how
do you gently compress a more than two channel mix? Any tools, free?

Applying EQs, and other fixed processing is easy by mere repetition, but I
really wonder how compress a bunch of channel with the same gain in time (like
a stereo compression wiche uses either the louder or the softer channel to
derives the compression gain ...

Any surround mixers include such 5 channel compression?

Also, do you know any .1 channel spefically designed mastering tools?
Compression, etc. ...

Thanks!
