I might even be easier to just get someone to notate it from a recording and
then transcribe it into Finale. To me this would be the most intuitive way.
Sometimes it can be tricky to get a live performance displayed properly. I know

in Logic 7 there are specific quantize and interpretation settings that can be
used for the displaying of a live performance.
