Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Music
The Department of Music seeks to appoint an electroacoustic music
composer or composer-performer. You should have an excellent research
record, or be able to show the potential to achieve research
You will be expected to teach composition in a variety of
electroacoustic music genres at all degree levels. The ability to
contribute to teaching in an area other than electroacoustic music
would be an advantage.
Salary: GBP30K - GBP45k
Lecturer in Music
For this new post we seek someone committed to teaching and
researching music genres (including popular music), music practice,
or applied areas of music. You should be interested in music and
culture since 1945, in combining theory with practice, and in
interdisciplinary approaches to music. You could be a performer,
composer, director, musicologist or music technologist, or a
practitioner with music business experience. You will be expected to
engage in research that has the potential to achieve
Salary: GBP26K- GBP38.5k
Benefits include a final-salary pension scheme.
