i believe you send a blank email with the subject / text 'uns*bscr*be
cec-conference' to majordomo@concordia.ca (asterisks as otherwise it
will uns*b me!)

however, i think you could have been more polite in your placement of
this posting. a discussion on (dis)ability is a sensetive issue, and a
complaint asking to uns*bscr*be in the middle of such a discussion may
be found offensive (as in 'geez i really dont wanna get involved in
this') to those who are (dis)abled on this list, myself included.
