Hi,

I am working on a piece that has visual elements. I'm working on a PC with
acid and vegas video. 2 programs by sonic foundry.

The piece is approximately 11 min long.Right now I have rendered the audio
and visual elements as a quicktime movie. the specifications for this file
are3Mbps. 640x480x24, 29.957 fps video (sorenson 3 compression)with 48,00
Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo audio. I have many more file options available to me. I'm
not really sure what is best.

The final format for the piece will be DVD (video) so I need to convert the
file to something compatible with that medium. I tried "winavi" and was able
to create a dvd but the quality, especially of the audio was not good. There
were a lot of "pops" and drop outs. The original video is mpeg and is very
low resolution so my main concern is not the quality of the video.

Any suggestions as to how to finalize this piece? Another conversion
software..or another approach altogether?

It's the first time I've tried using video.

thanks for your help,

Sean
