Full-time, Tenure-track position in Electronic Arts beginning Fall

The Intermedia Arts program seeks an accomplished artist with an
established record of achievement in electronic and interdisciplinary
media who possesses a broad understanding of contemporary art
practices and computer technologies. Candidates should be fluent in
the history and criticism of electronic art, as well as contemporary
media theory.

Candidates should be prepared to play a leadership role in developing
undergraduate and graduate Intermedia Arts Program curricula, and be
able to work with students working across and between disciplines,
including experimental music, dance, photography, sculpture,
installation, performance, and video. Courses will include digital and
electronic art production, web art, digital image-making and
processing, analog electronics, and interactivity as art practices.
Candidates will be required to participate in college service that
includes student advising.

Candidates will also be required to
participate in the graduate programs in the Fine Arts Division. At
least three years of college teaching experience is preferred, and an
MFA or equivalent experience is required.
