Cornerhouse in Manchester have invited SoundNetwork to curate and
programme works for radio for their 2month long radio project,
artradio.fm. A temporary radio station has been setup in Cornerhouse
Gallery 1 broadcasting in FM in a 3 mile radius of Cornerhouse in
central Manchester and simultaneously online Saturday 30th June -
Sunday 26th August
10pm - 12am Midnight

Web Stream Boat: a short trip

Web Stream Boat is an interactive system for navigating through live
internet radio stations. The physical locations of international
radio web streams have been mapped on to a three-dimensional map of
the globe, and users can control a boat rudder to navigate their way
through the streams.

For ARTRADIO a small group of people will be invited to experience an
installation of the work. Their journey by boat will form the content
of the radio broadcast, as they depart from the UK and cross the
Atlantic to explore a number of live web streams in South America and
beyond.

Web Stream Boat was developed during a residency organised by
Visiting Arts at Universidad de Los Andes, Bogota, Colombia. For more
