I just returned from our Colourscape Music Festival in York (UK).

(For those who don't know, "Colourscape" is a large walk-in sculpture
of colour, in which we put on performances of [mainly] contemporary
music from "non-pop" genres [including "computer music", but no more
specific categorisations available!] - see website below.)

One day, a young person approached and asked a member of staff what it
was, and was told that it was art. To this he replied, "It can't be
art; I can hear people enjoying themselves".
