Happy Sunday, fellow CECers,

Just a quick note to share my enthusiasm over the wonderful Mac-only
audio editor, DSP-Quattro. Like many of you, I've used Sound Designer
(old timers?!), Peak, etc. This new one is just fantastic and a great
deal for the money. I'm currently using it in OS X, but it runs in OS
8-9 as well. It does all the things you'd expect from an editor, but it
also allows you to use VST/AU effects and instruments (through MIDI),
record anything you do in real-time (becoming a hard-disk recorder in
the process), and slow down or speed up/scrub your audio file in
real-time for the old-school tape fan in you! You can also combine 4
effects at once, with preview on all processes.

Check out their website for more info and demo downloads:

Bon dimanche,
