taking pics of 'scores' can indeed be a great tool / doorway to creativity ...
i am at th moment using this info for taking quick pics of CD designs in PageMaker/Quark ...

i had one of th best 'artistic' experiences of my life
taking pics of Ruth Crawford Seeger's composition in ProTools
and collaging it with pics from her life from various sources.
one day i'll put th collage on my website (-: if they'll let me ;-)

it is quite a wonderful thing this ability
to render 'not so useless' info into timbral brush strokes :-)
