The piece submerging the gong was actaully performed last year here at
Acadia University :)

Yes, it would be nice to be submerged in the water and listen :P

In the documentary film "Four american composers", Cage refers playing a
large gong half submerged in a swimming pool. Now *that* would be
interesting to listen to for someone in the pool, alternating above and
below water.
