Now that the ink has finally dried on my master's thesis, I seem to have forgotten how much work was involved -- or at least, that's the best explanation I can think of for why I talked myself into starting work as a Ph.D student in computer science at Concordia. :-)
My research area is contextual question answering (but that doesn't mean I've lost interest in genetic learning, or in breast cancer, for that matter).
I'm delighted to be working under the supervision of Dr. Leila Kosseim, and proud to be a member of CLaC, Concordia's computational linguistics research group.
I've also been known to teach in Concordia's Computer Science department (and recently also our Centre for Continuing Education), but only when they're desperate. :-)
