VON KANT BIS HEGEL

An ongoing philosophy conference series

AIMS AND ASPIRATIONS

We are a group of professionals and students working in the historical period. One of our aims, among others, is to hold a continuing series of seminar-style conferences to provide a living forum to foster discussion of the highest quality about texts and themes that we care about in the remarkable period, from Kant to Hegel.

Concordia University hosted the fourth conference in MontrŽal on October 11-12, 2008. The special topic was Naturalism and Naturphilosophie.

University of Pittsburgh hosted the third conference and the proceedings were published soon after in a special issue of Inquiry, v.49, n.1 (Feb. 2006). The first two conferences were hosted by Johns Hopkins. Hopefully, this group will evolve and expand, naturally and of its own accord, and eventually reach an international audience. Come as you are (no registration necessary).
