AIM and SCOPE of Indoor Air:

The quality of the environment within buildings is a topic of major importance for public health. This issue has attracted researchers of differing backgrounds representing numerous disciplines. The purpose of this journal is to provide a location for reporting original research results in the broad area defined by the indoor environment of non-industrial buildings. The research results will provide the basic information required to allow designers, builders, owners and operators to provide a healthy and comfortable environment for building occupants.

SCOPE: The journal will have an international focus with multidisciplinary content. The papers published in each issue will reflect the broad categories of interest in this field: health effects, monitoring and modelling, source characterization, ventilation and other environmental control techniques, thermal comfort, and public policy.
