Course Objectives
The emphasis of the course will be to provide students with
practical experience searching a variety of electronic sources.
Theoretical concepts of database searching will be learned and
applied to different services. Working journalists, who will
discuss their use of electronic sources, have been invited
as guest speakers in order to provide some insight into how
electronic sources are used on the job.
