Most people work in some kind of service (or manufacturing) industry.
There are few people who are paid because of their creations.
Working for a computer game company may have creative aspects, and
the individual may be expected to be creative, but more likely, the
individual is expected to be productive. It may sound dreadful, but
we need 90 seconds of sounds by 5 pm.
Being "paid for services", the materials created do not belong to the
creator but the company that has hired the creator to produce.
As a CD 'executive producer', you may hire young musicians to create
new beats, and you will pay them for their 'product'(ion), and likely
claim 50% of the royalties (plus costs) as their publisher.
If this is what you are talking about.
