I was intrigued by the new OSX multimedia editor from arboretum

and wondered if anyone knew whether this software might take advantage
of the mac Dual Processor.
I am about to purchase 2 macs for the studios and can make huge
savings by not buying the DP. However, if it seems as though the DP
is to get increased use in audio software (I mean can one really split
audio and plug-ins across processors?) then the 1GHz DP machines
might be worth the expense.
Any information most gratefully appreciated.
