i'd agree with Steve... although prices for the laptops themselves might be
cheaper in Canada, i had problems with the modem lead from mine which had an
american end on it - no different in looks to the UK ones except the wiring
inside is back to front!!! so it wouldnt work! fortunately the dealer i went
through exchanged it...
there are many secondhand and refurb dealers here too who will give very good
prices on quite new machines... well worth a look once he's here. the costs
of new machines over the counter are much higher here - but computer fairs
provide hardware at a fraction of the cost.
