Dugal,
Quite possibly an NT problem. Best to use 2000. We have W2K running
on 4 machines
with midiman (not my USB interface of choice however) and not only
does it work with
CUBASE but also with pd and Samplitude6.0 .... and the PC gives 48
- 64 tracks + fx with
just a 200$ soundcard (show me a mac that will do that!!). The MIDI
conflicts with a PC
seem to be far less than all my freemidi/OMS bust ups on the mac.

In our ambisonic studio we've just installed the new PULSAR software
and wait to
see if its midi is up to scratch. It finally seems as though
CREAMWARE are producing
software that will allow VST plugins to sit on their own hardware and
not reside in the PC CPU.
This seems to make the PULSAR card (and SCOPE) quite a powerful tool.

Is anyone else using new PULSAR software (3.0 and above?) ...
Also, anyone waiting for the new SCOPE software and drivers?

Cheers,
Adrian.
