Well, you do have no _abstract_ numbers in context of some
'numer(olog)ical system', yet you can easily have a (functionally)
related 'number of' things in nature, e.g., one nose, two eyes, four
extremities, with five fingers / toes each, and this 'replicated' by
2^1, 2^2, 2^3, etc. 2^n persons ... Note that this extends (softens ...)
the notion of (identical) replication with regard to 'similarity',
(bi-)symmetry, etc. ...
