Dear Larry,

thank you very much for forwarding this info to the cecdiscuss. I
would like to publicly praise the big efforts your former student Lucio
Cuellar
is doing in promoting Latinamerican electroacoustic music in the USA.
In fact, the "Gallery" is the only event devoted exclusively to Latinamerican
ea/cm in the US that will continue. The first and the second edition of the
"Gallery" were a big success! For this edition of the "Gallery", it is
very likely that the Latinamerican pieces featured in PRESENCE II will be
performed.

As a composer, Lucio produced one of the finest multimedia ea pieces:
"Metamorfosis II", which I included in several of my curated concerts (the
AFEMF-Florida Festival, the Ecuatorian festival, the "2 Days and 2 NIghts
of New Music Festival" in the Ukraine -next April, etc.). And now he's
finishing his PhD dissertation, which is a huge composition.
