I worked for years with the EMS VCS3 (Putney) and analogue tape delays
(two or more Revox A77s). In fact my first work used the VCS1, EMS's
early prototype. The ISPW is the realisation of a long held dream - I
spent much of the 80s trying to build something like it myself.

Nothing much at present. A CD based on recordings from this year's
Croydon Colourscape Festival (Barry Guy, Vanessa Mackness, Alan
Tomlinson, Simon Desorgher and myself) is being prepared - no release
date yet. We are also working on a CD of the giant panpipes designed and
built by Simon Desorgher and myself, which also use a lot of processing
and structured improvisation. A description of our recent Spanish tour
appeared in Sonic Arts Network's 'Diffusion'. A CD of some of my pre-
composed music is under discussion. So, at the moment, it is 'Watch this
space'! I'll announce things as they appear.
