With the greatest respect (and I do really mean that!) this seems to
me a question about something that doesn't matter at all. If you make
the piece with acousmatic means and intentions, even with the idea
that it will be part of a performance involving dance, mime, video or
whatever, then it is so. Even if the dancer attempts to act the
source of the sounds (BTW, I can imagine something really beautiful
being done with that idea) the real source is not present or apparent.

More importantly, I can't imagine a situation in which I would worry
whether a particular label of any kind would be applied to my music.
What matters is whether the music and the dance are fused into a
successful (whatever that may be!) entity. If acousmatic means are
the right way for you to achieve that, then that is what you should
use. I can't see any reason why it would cease to be acousmatic in
this context, any more than cello music would cease to be cello music.

There is a long history of music for dance being played also as
concert music - whether a special version is required will depend on
the music. Listen to Stravinsky a bit?!!! ;-)>L
