At the studio we have an hard drive D2 300 gb (or so) and we had several problems with it. The drive seems to stop while working so it looses its connexion with the computer. The data stored were hard to recover. The rumor says that the Lacie Drive are less reliable since the drives are made in China. I have personnally a Lacie 120 gb baught 2 or 3 years ago and I never had any problems of that kind.
