The story goes that Ron Grainer wrote the melody and popped into
Delia's studio at 5pm one evening and said, "Can you do something
with this?" She stayed up all night and came up with what we know as
the Dr Who theme tune. Ron was chuffed to bits and wanted her name to
go down as the composer, but the BBC seemed reluctant to credit
Delia...
