Yes. And copyright holders -- aka, in Canada, anyone who creates something,
from the moment they create it (http://bit.ly/czb0qm) -- also have moral
rights over the work and its use (http://bit.ly/9IBmaL ).

And yes, the key thing with creative commons is that it is the copyright
holder that has decided to share their work (via terms they have chosen).
