The advantages of Blue *if*, say, one were to use instruments for
soundfiles, is the potential for object oriented effects,
nesting, python integration (especially if that could work on blue
variables) and textfile rendering. For those of us that used non-real
time computer processing back in the day, (Sound-designer II for example
- after the real time that was tape of course!), going back to thinking
about structures out of real time, based upon the understanding of the
soundfiles at our disposal poses interesting questions about how we work
with real-time playback.
