Hip Hop, Poetry and immersive sound
The text for this performance was written as part of a wider and
ongoing project called Edwin, the ambition of which is to use various
literary and musical forms to plunder, reveal and cleanse the psyche.
The result is an intimate, revealing and visceral performance.
Alyona is a beautiful little girl spattered with snow.
Edwin is an anthropomorphic fox dripping with blood.

Horseplay is a monthly night of spoken word, music, art and open mic.
This month we bring you one of the most exciting hip hop acts around at
the moment, David Mapp, Rob Godman and Lee Richardson will be
performing a full length conceptual work that tells the story of a
beautiful girl covered in snow and an anthropomorphic fox dripping with
blood. We also have poetry from Paul Aitchison, guest musicians and a
friendly and fun open mic.
