I would hope for a mention of the electroacoustic/new music program
called Sons d'esprit / Sound of Mind, which lasted from 1989-93 or
94, and which was hosted at various times by Claude Schryer, Kathy
Kennedy, Laurie Radford, Daniel Leduc, and yours truly. On the first
show, I accidently played one of Francis Dhomont's pieces on air at
half-speed! Luckily I realized my mistake after only the first
minute. The last program featured a fresh-from-that-morning 60 or 90-
minute recording of Claude Schryer's street, while he was waiting for
his mail to be delivered.
Broken headphones, lousy chairs, missing CDs, late guests, etc. Ahhh,
the good old days...
Ned
PS: CKUT still rocks!!!
