A new class of software is now available that allows for the visualization of the frequency and/or correlation and clustering of words and concepts in texts. This page is dedicated to making some of these available for the purpose of philosophical research. So far it contains some visualizations of texts by Hegel.
Word Tree (This lets you search for a word or phrase and shows you all the different contexts in which it appears. The contexts are arranged in a tree-like branching structure to reveal recurrent themes and phrases.)
Tag Cloud (This is a visualization of word frequencies, that lets you see how frequently words appear in the text, and search for particular words and lexical variants.)
