Electronic mail lets you exchange messages with other people anywhere in the world, as long as they have an address at a computer which is either connected directly to the Internet, or connected to a network which exchanges mail with the Internet. The default "mail user agents" (mail reading programs) for Alcor users are "pine" and "webmail". A few other user agents are available, but they may not be supported by IITS. We also have software to help you process your e-mail in various ways. For more information, follow these links:
