Sendmail at Concordia


Many computers at Concordia University run the mail transfer agent sendmail.

We try to reduce the amount of spam received by our users, and try to completely eliminate spam relayed through our site to other sites, by using the new sendmail check_* rules. In designing our rulesets, we got plenty of inspiration from the following sites:

Our rules have been tested for local mail submission in conjunction with the following user agents:

We generate statistics on rejected mail using a perl script based on smreject by Ted George. If you like, you can also take a look at our modified version of smreject.
